Perebory. Views
The exhibition, presented at the Museum of Southern Podlasie in Biała Podlaska from October 18, 2024, to August 31, 2025, provided a multidimensional look at the traditional Bug River weaving ornament known as perebory, which is inscribed on the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. The exposition combined historical documentation and archival textile collections with modern artistic interpretations, showcasing the vitality of this unique craft in the contemporary world.

The book documenting my field research on perebory design was recognized in 2020 in the 12th edition of the “Polish Countryside – Heritage and Future” competition organized by the Foundation for the Development of Polish Agriculture, and again in 2023 in the “Roots and Wings” competition organized by the National Institute of Rural Culture and Heritage.
